HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL :
This institution was founded in the year 1986.It started with a modest strength of 30 students.With the dedication and hard work of the founder Mr.P.Joseph Leo Peter and the correspondent Mrs. M.Janet Pankajam Arunthathi, it grew in leaps and bounds.It was recognised in the year 1988.It gained the status of a full fledged Matriculation school in 1991 and was later upgraded to HigherSecondary School in 1992.
This institution aslong with its sister concern Little Holy Angels Matriculation Higher Secondary School,Ayappakkam together has 3,000 students.From 30 students in 1987 to 3,000 students as of now is a dream came true for the visionaries of this great institution.
ABOUT THE TRUST :
This institution is run by Ponnuswamy Nadar Educational Trust.It has been named in the memory of Mr.Ponnuswamy Nadar, father of the founder.Mr.Ponnuswamy nadar was a teacher during his time.Therefore the trust was instituted in order to give quality education to the society.The institutions that are run by the trust are as follows:

Mr.P.Joseph Leo Peter,
the founder is also the Managing trustee of this educational trust.
ABOUT FOUNDER :
The founder Mr.P.Joseph Leo Peter was born to Mr.Ponnuswamy Nadar and Nadachi Ammal in a very small village called Vairavikenaru,Radhapuram Taluk,Tirunelveli District in the year 1940.
He did his graduation (B.sc. Maths)at St.Xaviers college,Palayamkottai and Post graduation (M.A History)at Madras University.He did his B.ED At St.Xaviers College of Education,Palayamkottai and did his M.ED
at chennai University.
He had a very keen interest in Mathematics and so went on to teach Mathematics at Bishop Roche High School,Idindakarai,Tirunelveli district from 1963-1970.
Then he joined D.R.B.C.C Hindu Higher Secondary School in Tiruvallur as Asst.Headmaster in 1970. He then joined as Headmaster in Britannia High School,Padi in the year 1981.He was instrumental in starting the school and has received good support from his wife which made their venture in to school education a great success. He and the correspondent were called as “Born teachers” by the people of Korattur.
The founder is a Philanthropist.As a gesture of his social responsibility he gave Rs.1 Lakh from his pension amount to the Chief Minister Mr.M.Karunanithi for Kargil war Martyrs in the year 1999.Every year he and the Correspondent never forget to give food and clothin to the under privileged students of St.Teresa Orphanage and an Orphanage at Villianoor.
ABOUT PRINCIPAL AND CORRESPONDENT :
The principal and Correspondent was born in the year 1944 in Koodunkulam Village,Tirunelveli District.She did her school education at St.Ignatius Convent,Palayamkottai and her college education at Fatima college,Madurai.She completed her B.T course at St.Ignatius college of education.She did her Post Graducation M.sc.(zoology) at Pachaiyappas college,Chennai.
She started her professional career at St.Josephs Higher Secondary School in the year 1964 as B.T. Assistant.In the year 1971 she joined D.R.B.C.C.C Higher Secondary School as P.G. Assistant.After being a teacher for more than 30 years,she wanted her service to reach the people of korattur and therefore she along with her husband P.Josepj Leo Peter started Little Holy Angels Matriculation school. After that there was no turning back.
She is now the Correspondent and principal of the school. A strict disciplanarian, she has been a source of inspiration and a role model to the students.

Awarded by International institute of Education and Management in the year 2002.
- She received the same from the Minister Mr.Digvijay Singh.

ABOUT COORDINATOR :
Mr.J.Reginald Ebenezer, the Coordinator did his school education at DonBosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School,Egmore,Chennai.He then pursued his engineering degree in mining at Anna University.Then he did his post graduation in Business Administration at chennai University.He then did another post graduation in software systems at Bits Pilani,Rajasthan.
He worked in HCL as a software Engineer.As he was from a teacher's family,he had a strong desire to enter the field of education.So he did his B.Ed and became the Co-ordinator of Little Holy Angel's group of schools.
